Hello everybody! Sure has been awhile :) I'm a once-a-month blogger - that is all I can handle! So deal with it :)
Here is the update:
Maylee and I are still living in Lehi and loving life. I'm going to summer school at UVU and still coaching cheerleading and teaching dance. We are quite busy but love every minute. More pictures are coming! It'll just take me month to get it together :) Love you all!

I'm 24 years old!
Here is how the big day went...

B ouquet of red roses were delivered at midnight from my friend Curtis. He wanted to give the first gift!
I enjoyed a delicious breakfast made by Lori - German pancakes.
Received a lot of texts saying Happy Birthday. I felt super special!
Talked on the phone with JanaRae, my bestie.
Heard my fans scream "Go miss Vicki" a hundred times every time I was on stage.
D itched my school class for Dress Rehearsal. My dance concert was the same week.
Ate a lot of the peanut butter/chocolate cake Lori made for me.
Yerda had a great birthday. Thanks ya'll for making me feel loved!

I never blogged Maylee's two year old birthday March 31, 2009.

Maylee loves eating eggs for breakfast.
Ask Maylee a question and she'll say "I don't know" then she'll answer it right after. Interesting.
You will smile when you see the way Maylee plays with her baby dolls.
Look at Maylee's hair! It is finally growing!
Everytime we pass the hospital or hear a siren she says "my daddy's work". Smart girl!
Even though I love to snuggle with her, she is such a wild sleeper! She'll scratch, kick, talk ect.

Just in case you are wondering - Maylee is potty trained!
One time I said to Maylee "Come here little princess" and she gave me a confused look saying "I'm not a princess, I'm a monkey baby."
Yesterday I kissed Maylee and she grabbed my face with her little hands and said "I love you Mom." My heart melted. I love being a mom to this beautiful child.

In April I went to the Dominican Republic with six other friends: Chris, Gina and Carson Eady, Brooke Haws, Josh Jones and Nate Dunkley. We went together to help build a home for a family there that the Eady's knew from a previous trip to the Dominican Republic. It was such a great experience! It was my first time out of the country and I fell in love with the people. We were able to gather 700lbs of school supplies to take down for a school. My testimony was strengthened of the love that Heavenly Father has for each one of us. I'm very blessed to have the gospel in my life and sometimes I take that for granted. It was great to be reminded of the importance to follow Christ and serve others. Here are my favorite pictures during our trip!

Maylee used her dress as a pocket today. I noticed that she kept adding treasures to it. At the end of the day she had gathered a piece of gum, chapstick, hand sanitizer, and lip gloss .

Jaleah and I went to the festival of colors on Saturday. I had missed most of the color throwing but tried to catch what I could. We both got thrown in the crowd to surf and I lost my shoe (sorry Lachelle, they were your flip flops). It was super fun. I'm going again next year and I'm going early this time. The traffic was crazy!

I sent Maylee to the corner today. She loved it! I think she was excited because Annie gets sent to the corner and she seems to want to do everything Annie does. So funny!

I had to take a picture of this. Maylee ate one bite of every carrot and called it good!

I don't have a lot of time to comment on each of these photos but February was pretty darn busy! Maylee started dance, we babysat the Holmberg's for a few days, I'm dating a lot of fun guys, and we are loving our busy life! Hope you get the drift with these photos... :)

Lehi Love

Living in Lehi has been such a blessing! I thought the commute to work would bug but it's not bad at all. Lori has helped me out a lot with Maylee and I just enjoy living in a new area. Maylee and Annie are buddies. They for the most part play well together. It has been fun to have Maylee around Annie. Her vocabulary has improved and she likes to do everything that Annie does. We might even have her potty trained soon because when Annie goes - Maylee follows by example. Maylee loves Luke. I like when she holds him. She gives him cute little kisses and bend down to softly say "hi".

Did I mention we live right next to a park? It's like a backyard! Maylee loves to slide and climb around! I love watching her play and seeing her enjoyment.

Halloween

So I haven't blogged for awhile... I'm playing catch up! Here are some Halloween pictures. Maylee was a pumpkin and wore a cute costume made by her Grandma Asay. I dressed up as a witch and went to the Witches night out at Garners Village. I'm making that a tradition - It's so fun. I went with my friends the first part of the night and then with my Mom and Lori for the rest of the night. We danced the night away and ate yummy goodies.

We've moved to Lehi

So Maylee and I made our move to Lehi. Lori and Deron just bought a home there and had an extra room to spare! It is helping me out so much - I love them and I love living in Lehi! I thought the commute to Provo every day would bug me but I'm totally fine so far. It is nice to have a new, fresh place to live! We are right across the street from a park and an elementary school with great neighbors and friendly new faces to meet. It kind of has a small town, Round Valley-ish feel to it, except we are 4 minutes away from a freeway. Maylee and Annie play very well with each other and Lori and I do too! It is one happy family! I'll show pictures soon.

So I was looking at a friends blog and liked the idea of posting pictures of what your house looks like right there and then - no adjusting. Well, I sort of liked the idea. It was midnight and my house was a disaster! Which 90% of the time it is. But I thought it would be funny to post the truth right there and then. I should have gone to bed but instead I took pictures like crazy. It felt good to not but on a show or anything. I mean, this was truly what I, and the house looked like at that moment. One of my best friends, Megan Galbraith, graduated last week with her Bachelors degree in Social Work. She is pregnant with her first child and she just moved into a brand new home. Does that seem right on track or what? The rest of us surrounding her, choose to take paths that are a little more distracted :) She is such a good example! We are proud of you Meg!

Provo Cheer Team

I've been coaching Provo High Cheerleading for the last few months and I thought I'd post a couple of pictures from our car wash we had. These girls are so fun and I've really enjoyed my coaching experience so far. It has been awesome! I'm sure you can tell from the pictures that they're hard workers and a good group of girls - all 38 of them!

This girl is one tough cookie who loves to go upstairs in Sunni's room and climb on her bunk bed. She pulls her self up and loves it. This can't be normal! Is my girl special or what? hee hee

I don't know if you can see it, but Maylee got this goose head from hitting her head on the corner of a drawer. On that same day she had two face plants from falling off the chair and tripping over my feet. On top of that, we went outside to play and she touched a slide that was way hot and let out a sad confused screech. Poor girl, she was having a clumsy, not-so-lucky day!

Maylee loves to give kisses! She is such a busy body always on the go, but takes time to snuggle too. Every morning after she wakes up, I snuggle with her in my bed and she puts her little arm behind my neck and we just lay there smiling at each other. It is my favorite time of the day.

Maylee loves to play outside! Luckily we live around some rich kids with all the fun toys! She loves to explore the neighborhood and she is starting to know it well enough that she knows exactly where to find the cars. So so fun!

Lachelle is probably going to kill me for posting this picture but I think it's hillarious! A couple of weeks ago we put together a dance camp and had a free moment so we took a silly picture. That girl is crazy! I love her so much. We have really bonded over the years and she has become a bestie!

Laura's Wedding

Megan, Valerie, and I went to Laura's sealing in the Manti Temple last weekend. It was such a wonderful day and a sweet spirit was felt. This was my first time in the The Manti Temple. I love visiting new temples and seeing their beauty. It was a perfect day! Congratulations to Jonathan and Laura Snow!

St.George Weekend

We had a weekend with all the sisters and cousins down in St.George. It was a fun little get away! We did a little shoppin', swimmin',eatin' and ended our trip visting the temple! Thanks for the great weekend girls!

We went to Arizona for Memorial Day weekend. It was a quick trip but still great. We attended Amber Whiting's wedding and visited with old friends there. We watched Tyra Bingham dance in her dance recital (She is a beautiful dancer) and then we spent Sunday in the mountains at our Rothesberger reunion. I love the outdoors and the spirit that you feel there. We had an uplifting testimony meeting and it was just great to feel such love from relatives. We visited Grandma and Grandpa Gillespie's graves and enjoyed Dad share special memories of his childhood. I loved it! Maylee loves the mountains! She quickly got dirty and was lovin' all the wonderful places to explore. Now that she can walk, she is all over the place. I love to see her excitement for life! It was a great weekend!

JIVE DANCE CONCERT 2008

Jive Dance Concert "Unique" was a great success. I now have 100 students I teach and love my job! Teaching is an absolute joy! A lot of hard work was put into this concert and I love the result of all the effort. Once again we put together a fun, professional production! I got a lot of positive feedback and want to thank all those who cheered me on with their support.

I participated in 6 of the dances! Stressful - Yes! But I can't resist... I love to dance.
